The NTMA Officers and Board of Directors continue to build this organization by providing industry training and networking opportunities to strengthen professional relationships. We continue to pursue our main charter of offering scholarship opportunities to our youth.
Our goal, as always, is to inform and educate our members through monthly meetings and training events, giving attendees a platform and opportunity to discuss industry trends, concerns, and changes.
There is no cost to join the NTMA as a member. You will receive email correspondence regarding upcoming opportunities and events. We do have Corporate Sponsorships available for a fee.

A Tribute to Phillip Jonathan Chandler
Phillip Jonathan Chandler, born on February 14, 1981, was a beloved soul who touched the lives of many. He was blessed with a loving family and a life filled with joy.
Phillip was a kind and compassionate person who cherished his friendships. He had a wide range of interests, including photography, guitar, movies, art, music, and cycling with his brother. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his father and ballroom dancing with his mother. His unique ability to make others feel special will be remembered fondly.
Tragically, Phillip passed away in 2007 at the age of 26. At the time of his death, he was working in a fulfilling role in information technology at a major company. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
To honor Phillip's memory, the North Texas Measurement Association (NTMA) Board of Directors established a scholarship in his name. Phillip's father, Allen Chandler, was a longtime member and supporter of the NTMA.

In August 2024, the NTMA selected eight students to receive the Phillip J. Chandler Memorial Scholarship. Awardees are students associated to the NTMA through a referral by a current NTMA member. Applicants studying in thy hydrocarbon industry are given preference. We are looking forward to continuing our efforts in providing to our youth in the 2024-25 School year. 2025 Scholarship applications are being accepted. Application deadline is March 31, 2025.
